Self-insured employers collectively cover over 120 million lives in the United States. Many of these employers face challenges in providing coverage that ensures patient access to high-cost treatments for ultra-rare diseases. This presentation will guide the audience through the current issues and explore how alternative commercialization strategies could help expand patient access within the employer market.

Yutong Sun is the co-founder and CEO of Quantile Health, a gene therapy access platform company. She previously served as the lead data scientist at Oscar Health, a Google-backed healthcare insurance startup. Prior to that, she worked as a quant trader at Virtu Financial.
